What is the difference between the Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™ and other safes on the market today?

The Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™ is unique in that it uses cutting edge biometric technology and is the first wall unit on the market to utilize a drop down door to access the contents immediately. It installs easily, is built to last, and is simple to use.

What is the difference between the Biometric and the Keypad Wall Vault™?

The Biometric Wall Vault™ and the Keypad Wall Vault™ boast many of the same great features. The Biometric utilizes fingerprint recognition to access the contents while the Keypad unit uses up to two 1-8 digit pin numbers.

How long does it take to receive my Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™?

We stock a large volume of Wall Vaults™ in our California warehouse so that they will never be unavailable or backordered. All vaults will ship out within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Does the Wall Vault™ come with a warranty?

The Wall Vault™ comes with a one (1) year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Complete warranty and registration information can be found here.

Is the Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™ fire safe?

The Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™ is not a fire safe approved device. Its main purpose is to provide instant access to it's contents and offer safety and protection to home and gun owners.

Has the Wall Vault by BioLock® Wall Vault™ been approved by the Department of Justice?

Yes, the Wall Vault™ has been approved by the California Department of Justice as a firearm safety device.

What if I have trouble operating my Wall Vault™?

You can consult the trouble shooting section of the Installation and Operation Guide included with your Wall Vault™. 99% of all troubleshooting issues can be resolved by thorougly reading the instruction manual. View Instructions Here

What kind of maintenance does the Wall Vault™ require?

The Wall Vault™ is virtually maintenance free. The Wall Vault™ will occasionally need to be charged and will beep when the battery gets low. You may also need to clean the biometric sensor or touchpad, or occasionally oil the bearings with silicone based spray (not to be done more than once a year).

Does the Wall Vault™ have to be installed in the wall?

The Wall Vault™ was designed to be bolted between 2 16" on center studs in the wall. It needs to be installed upright in order for the drop down door to operate properly.
